Lions Club donates to Koncaba
The Groesbeck Lions Club, along with many other groups and individuals, made a donation to the Groesbeck Volunteer Fire Department to help support the young firefighter, Matt Koncaba, to help with his medical expenses following a single car accident in the San Antonio area. Matt suffered serious injuries and is expected to make a full recovery but unfortunately, he lost both his wife, Lexi and his younger sister, Hannah. His sister-in-law, Brianna Ray, was also seriously injured and is expected to fully recover.
There is an additional fund set up to help with the medical expenses of Brianna Ray, and the members of the Groesbeck Lions Club would encourage groups and individuals to help either or both of these families in need. We are all fortunate to live in a community like Groesbeck. Time and time again, when anyone among us suffers a serious injury or lose, this community comes together to help. The Groesbeck Lions Club was honored to do our small part to help the Koncaba family.
