Following successful trail rides throughout the Old Fort Parker acreage during the Thanksgiving weekend, the next big event, the 2021 Annual Christmas at Old Fort Parker, located between Mexia and Groesbeck in Limestone County off Texas Highway 14.
A deputy with the Limestone County Sheriff’s Office is reported to be in good condition and recovering following a one-vehicle crash about 11:20 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 27. He was en route to a call.
The American Legion Ashburn-Hanna Post 288 is hosting a Veterans Day Ceremony on Thursday, Nov. 11 at 11 a.m., in observance of Veterans Day. All are invited to celebrate the brave men and women who have served this country through military service. The ceremony will take place on the Limestone County Courthouse grounds.
