Living Proof Church completed the eighth year of its backpack outreach program on July 31; gathering the necessary school supplies and backpacks to provide 160 area students a successful new school year. Children from eight communities received supplies although 90 percent of those children attend Groesbeck ISD.
Deputy Secretary of State Joe Esparza today drew the ballot order for the 8 proposed amendments to the Texas Constitution that will appear on the November 2nd ballot.
