Limestone Medical Center Receives Texas Gold Standard Recognition from CLA

Limestone Medical Center has received the Critical Access Hospital Texas Gold Standard Performer recognition from CliftonLarsonAllen, LLP. CliftonLarsonAllen is a professional services network and the eighth largest accountancy firm in the United States. Gold Standard performance criteria were created by CLA as a way to identify, measure and learn from the top performers. The firm examines publicly available data on more than 1,200 CAHs which includes financial, quality, patient satisfaction, total cost of care and county health results from 2015 through 2019. Top CAHs are identified as Gold Standard performers based on their ability to achieve significantly above average performance on all key areas of focus over a sustained period of time which demonstrates success not just day-today but over the long term.

Fishes and Loaves Food Pantry gives thanks for surpassing goal

We at Fishes and Loaves Food Pantry would like to thank all who donated to our Food For Families Food Drive. We did GREAT thanks to all of you. All four schools in Groesbeck participated in a huge way as did so many of our businesses and individuals here in Groesbeck. We are so blessed. Our shelves and freezers were almost empty and now we will be able to fill up our shelves and get meat for our freezers. Your generosity humbles and overwhelms us and we thank you to all who volunteered during this event. From all of us at Fishes and Loaves Food Pantry, we give you a heartfelt THANK YOU, and may God bless you all. Added are a few pics from that day. There were many more volunteers and we so enjoyed our visit from Katie with KWTX and her cameraman who were a joy to get to know as well as Jennifer from the Groesbeck Journal. Our final total after a few late donations was 52,231 pounds; surpassing our goal of 50,000 pounds. Praise the Lord. Contributed article.
