Patsy Jean Hyden Bradshaw, November 8, 1932 - June 3, 2017
Patsy Jean (Hyden) Bradshaw, passed away on Saturday June 3, 2017, after a long and courageous battle with COPD. A visitation was held Thursday, June 8, 2017 from 6-8pm at Restland Funeral Home. A graveside service was held on Friday, June 9 at 10am at Restland Cemetery with a memorial service at Saturn Road Church of Christ in Garland. Patsy was 84.
She was born on November 8, 1932 at the Davis Chapel Community. She graduated from Mexia High School in 1951 and moved to Dallas that same year where she married and made her home.
She was the matriarch of a large and loving family who were inspired by her grace and gentle nature. Long retired, she served her family as carpool captain, milkshake maker, Rummikub player and sweet hug giver.
She was preceded in death by her precious husband of forty-four years, A.G. Bradshaw and her loving parents, Pascal S. and Mary Hyden of Mexia. She is survived by her son Michael of Edom, Texas, and her two daughters Jerre Ouart and husband Mike from Poetry, Texas, and Terri Bradshaw of Garland. Also surviving are her granddaughter Jamie Bradshaw Jenkins and boyfriend Scott Cline of Garland, Texas, Jeffry Bradshaw and wife Ledia of Mansfield, Texas, Jeramy Ouart and wife Laura of Spring Hill, Tennessee and Phillip Bradshaw and wife Jessica of Georgetown, Texas. In addition, she is survived by eight great-grandchildren: Abigail, Kyndal, Rebecca and Peyton Jenkins, Henley and Leighton Bradshaw and Jackson and Luke Ouart. She is also survived by her brother Jerry Hyden of Pollock, Texas.
