We are still getting our meals delivered to Central Baptist Church each week, even though the newsletter doesn’t appear in the Journal each week. Sometimes my fault and other times when I’ve sent and it doesn’t get in the paper, I don’t know what goes wrong. Anyway, we were down a few the past week as only eleven meals were picked up or delivered to Elle and Hank Staniszewski, Donna Lloyd, Fonnetta Simmons, Bill Neason, Earl Mask, Gayla Lind, Neennah German, Ann Brown, Janice Bilbrey and myself.
Fighting caregiver stress
June is Alzheimer’s & Brain Awareness Month®, and while we take steps to exercise and take care of our brains, we shouldn’t neglect the fact that caregivers of those living with Alzheimer’s and other dementia need some recognition too.
