Shepherds Sayings
The Bible instructs fathers, “Do not imbitter your children or they will become discouraged.” (Col. 3:21) Obviously, a Christian home ought to be a place of encouragement, since discouraged children are fair prey for Satan and the world. When discouraged children are fair prey for Satan and the world. When a child does not get ‘ego-strength’ at home, he will seek it elsewhere. Christian parents need to give their child a loving heart, a watching eye, a listening ear, and help when needed.
Pandemic ignites need for open government at all levels
Texans have been witnessing things that would have been unthinkable until now: Surge teams, testing of nursing homes for COVID-19 and the National Guard helping to disinfect nursing home facilities around the state.
Shepherds Sayings
Jesus said true peace comes like this, “If you are about to offer your gift to God at the altar and there you remember that your brother has something against you, leave your gift there in front of the altar, go at once and make peace with your brother; and then come back and offer your gift to God.” (Matt. 5: 23-24) According to Jesus, peace with God is impossible until we have made peace with others. Genuine peace comes when all parties want and seek it. World peace will come when people all over the world, people like us, seek it between family, friends, neighbors, church members, churches, lovers, and enemies.
