Jesus said, “Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to live, and only a few find it.” (Matt. 7:13-14) The Lord warned that swarms of people will go in the broad easy way and absolutely miss His promise of life. Some reject God’s way of life because it is to limiting, to restricting, and to narrow-minded for them. Christ urged everyone to seek the “Narrow Way”. He promised life to those who find it. Remember, the “Narrow Way” to every promise Jesus makes is found through the Lord Christ himself.

The Kosse First United Methodist Church invites you to join us for our Summer Revival on July 18 and 19 at 6:30 p.m. each evening. Our guest speaker will be Rev. Mac Vaughn, a retired preacher from Navasota, Texas.

We had a great day at Senior Citizens with 18 present for the meal, etc. Those present were Lorene Stembridge, Roger and Linda Watson, Elizabeth Neason, Snuffy Bennett , Ann Brown, Wilma Lee, Wayne Sharp, Neennah German, Gayla Lind, Glenda Gambini, Hank and Elle Staniszewski, James Lenamond, Doris Lemley, Earl Mask, Janice Bilbrey and myself. With our added skillets of cornbread, cantaloupe and Blue Belle Ice Cream to the already good Chicken and Dumplings, everyone left rubbing their full “tummys”.
