Shepherds Sayings

Paul writing to the Ephesians and describing what they were like before they believed in Jesus as Savior and Lord said, “Remember at that time you were separated from Christ, excluded from citizenship in Israel and foreigners to the covenants of the promise, without hope and without God in the world.” (Eph. 2:12) Oh, my dear friends, what a frightening thought to be “without hope and without God”. However, that is the awful truth facing people who have never believed that Jesus is Savior and Lord.

Shepherds Sayings

In the Gospel of Luke, there is an account of Jesus throwing the merchants and money changers out of the temple. (Luke 19:45-48) I have heard people say they did not believe this event happened because such angry and violent behavior was beneath the meek and gentle Jesus.
