For many of us, history is a fascinating subject, one that fuels the imagination and leads to exciting discoveries. While looking through old photographs at the Kosse Heritage Society, I came across a group of writings written by a man that called himself “Lazy Lester”.
First and foremost let me remind you of the Limestone Medical Center being at the Thornton Center (Central Baptist Church), Thursday, OCTOBER 8, 2020 at 10:30 A.M. These flu shots are available to all but you have to let Janice Bilbrey know if you want one, therefore, she will also need to know if you are over the age of 65, due to the extra strength in shots for those. So please give her a call at 254/203-2769 at least by Wednesday noon, Oct.7th so she can call in the number of vaccines and strengths for nurses to bring.
Before the Civil War, America had a king…King Cotton. Cotton fields stretched as far as the eye could see all over the deep South, including Texas. Cotton was highly profitable as it provided a cheaper alternative to silks and other expensive fabrics; and a cooler one than wool.

Bring your Medicare and Insurance cards. Otherwise, if you opt to pay out of pocket it will be $25 each. If you are under age 65 old, please let Janice know because the dose strength is different from 65 and over. Janice’s number is (254) 203-2769. If you live in the area and want to participate, you are invited to participate, even though you don’t partake of the meals each week.
Of course, everyone knows that Tuesday, November 3, is the date of the general election in the United States of America. And, this year, it is also a presidential election year.
