Falling leaves remind us of the cycle of nature. There are planting times, sprouting times, growing times, harvest times and death. If the world last, the cycle will bring new life to the grass and flowers next Spring. However, for people, physical death comes only once.
This Saturday, June 12, will be another interesting Saturday for the Groesbeck area. For the 23rd annual Groesbeck Lions Club Car Show will be held from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Groesbeck City Park. Please see the related story.
Jesus said, “I tell you .... do not worry saying what we eat... drink... or wear?... Your heavenly Father knows that you need them.” (Matt 6:32-32) Worry is an interesting word. It means to be pulled in opposite directions. Peace is just the opposite. Peace means to put or bring together. Thus, if I worry, my heart and life are pulled apart, and when I have peace, my heart and life are pulled together.
