Goats JV falls to Bullard
I wanted to be honest and comment on a comment made by a Groesbeck fan on how nice the bathroom facilities are in Bullard. Withholding her identity as not to incriminate her, she said that is the only thing good going on in Bullard.
The Panthers looked like they flew in a travel team. I'm not sure about the bathrooms but what's in the water?
These young men looked like college football players.
The opening half started with the Panther's quarterback and big plays.
Groesbeck's running attack with help from the Conn brothers, Terrell and Anthony, producing some good offensive runs that were met with strong resistance by the Panthers.
Two fumbles by Groesbeck turned the ball back over to the Panthers, which did not help because the Panthers became a scoring machine.
At halftime, the score was 34-0 in the Panthers' favor.
Groesbeck kicked off in the second half to the Panthers.
The third play of the drive produced another turnover, but it was recovered by the Goats. Some good runs by Remington Masters and the Conn brothers still fell short to pick up first downs.
