A look at Week 10 in Texas High School Football

By Stephen R. Farris Sports Editor

Big rivalry game between Groesbeck and Teague was a close one, decided by two points in Week 9, while down in Class 2A, both Bremond and Mart shutout their opponents by huge margins. Bremond and Mart are in the driver’s seat at the top of their districts and have clinched playoff spots. The Goats need a win this week to keep in the playoff hunt. Currently, the team is tied with Eustace and Whitney for the No. 4 seed. Teague and West (with 4-1 district records) are tied for the No. 2 seed and Malakoff sits on top of District 9-3A DI with a 5-0 record. It’ll be interesting to see where the teams will be in the standings come the final week of the regular season.
