Team tennis state bound

The Groesbeck High School tennis team is headed to State following a 10-1 win, Friday, March 2 and a 10-3 win over Franklin Saturday. “It was a great effort by everyone,” Coach Dusty Loewe said. “We all competed at a high level for being such young players. As a team we were all pushing and pulling for each other.” The Goats are now the Regional Champs, and they hold the number one seat at the State meet which will be held in Round Rock this Friday and Saturday. They will compete in a total of four matches, two each day at 8 a.m. and 1 p.m.
