Two doubles teams won championships on their home court at the Groesbeck Invitational Tennis Tournament.

Goats fall to Franklin 2-1; Defeat Westwood 8-6

Groesbeck fell to Franklin 2-1 and defeated Westwood 8-6 this past week to move to 13-10 overall and 5-2 in district play. The Goats are currently tied for second place in the district with Fairfield. Franklin is in first place with a 7-0 record and Elkhart and Buffalo are tied for fourth place with a 4-3 record.
Six Lady Goats advance to area track meet

Six Lady Goats are advancing to the Area Track Meet at Crockett High School on April 14 after the district track meet last week. Advancing are Kayla Menzel, Katlyn Carder, Makayla Banks, Aidah Figard, Essance Jones, and Mahoganie Washington.
Lady Goats defeat Franklin 12-2, Westwood 15-6

The Lady Goats defeated Franklin 12-2 and Westwood 15-6 this past week. The wins move Groesbeck to 15-7 overall with a 7-2 district record. Groesbeck is tied for second place with Franklin. Fairfield is sitting in first place in the district and Teague is in fourth place.
GISD closes campuses April 7 for Trooper funeral

Due to the funeral service for Trooper Walker being held at Goat Stadium on Wednesday, April 7, 2021, all GISD campuses will be closed on April 7, 2021.
