This Friday night marks the halfway point for the Texas High School football season, and man is it moving faster than a KaVontae Turpin kickoff return for a touchdown! The non-district portion of everyone’s schedule is almost over, while one district dives right into it this weekend. No district race has even come close to being determined. Heck, we still have a ways to go. As most every coach will tell you, it’s the district games that matter the most and begin the march towards that state championship trophy.
