Coming off their bye week, the Groesbeck Goats will travel to Fairfield to take on the Eagles at 7:30 p.m. Friday in the opening District 8-3A, Division I football game of the season for both teams.
Spurred by a pair of top-10 finishers, the Groesbeck boys cross country team finished a close third at the Fairfield Golden Eagle Run on Saturday.
