Thornton Homecoming is big success
The annual Thornton homecoming was a big success this past Friday and Saturday.
The homecoming kicked off with the CPRA/UPRA rodeo on Friday night. The rodeo was also held on Saturday night. Muttin Bustin/Calf Roping was held each night.
The Thornton homecoming parade was held 11 a.m. on Saturday in downtown Thornton. The parade had many entries.
Elizabeth and Bill Neason were featured in the parade as Mr. and Mrs. Thornton. Jerry Tilley and Linda Sills Neff were the Thornton Ex-Students homecoming king and queen and were also featured in the parade.
A list of parade entries and parade trophies winners will be found in this week’s paper also along with several parade pictures.
