Thornton Senior News
Good Morning to all, especially to you Senior Citizens, who gleefully gather at Central Baptist Church each Thursday morning. It's uplifting to see all of your smiling faces each week. Now that the weather is getting cooler, it helps us to feel somewhat better each day. Maybe some of these pesky allergies will blow on south as the cool north breezes blow.
I'm sorry that last week’s letter didn't get in newspaper. I was having trouble with my computer and I sent it, but for some unknown reason, didn't get into the paper. Visited with the seniors for just a few minutes and was greeted by Sue Wood, LMC volunteer, Alta Hyden, Alma McCurry, Helen Harvey, Merilyn Simpson, Jack Thompson, Linda Taylor, Sandra Spivey, Raye Spivey, Neenah German, Ann Carr, LMC Volunteer; Ann Brown, Janice Bilbrey, site director; Ernestine Audd, and myself.
Fonetta Simmons wasn't there but word was that she had relatives that had suffered property loss and others endangered in the forest fires of California. We pray for their safety.
