Twenty one gathered again on Thursday, Sept. 7 for fun, food, and fellowship. Those present were Janice Bilbrey, Ann Brown, Snuffy Bennett, Wilma Lee, Ernie and Sherry Solis, Sharry, Joseph and Lisa Isabell, Mame, Elizabeth Neason, Daniel Curry, Lorene Stembridge, Michelle Cochran, Jo Ann Archer, Gala Gambini, Karen Bess, Doris Lemley, Earl Mask, Shari, and Sheryl Davis.
October 7 will be “happening” day in Kosse when the Kosse Methodist Church holds its’ 43rd annual bazaar at the Methodist Memorial Pavilion on Hwy. 14S. Things will kick off early with coffee and food available for early shoppers to the white elephant sale. In addition to the white elephant, the bazaar features crafts, a country kitchen with home-canned goods, a bake sale, a silent auction, a multi-prize raffle, a BBQ plate lunch, and a live auction. There will be activities and games for the children as well.

Kosse veteran, long-term resident gets new ramp
Groesbeck ISD Board of Trustees had a special meeting on the morning of Aug. 28 to take action on a few time-sensitive matters before the month ended. Though Board President Aslone Foy and Angela Crane were not in attendance, a quorum was present and Vice President Jim Longbotham ran the brief meeting.
