County Judge Richard Duncan and County Sheriff Murray Agnew were at odds, once again, during the Limestone County Commissioner’s second budget workshop, conducted following the executive session of their regular meeting on Tuesday, Aug. 9. Discussion ensued about the efficiency of the Sheriff’s Office’s current structure, as Duncan considers the makeup to include “too many chiefs and not enough Indians,” but Agnew disagrees.
The following indictments were handed down July 26 by a Limestone County Grand Jury. Those listed are not guilty unless and until a court finds otherwise. An indictment means there is enough evidence to warrant a trail.
