Groesbeck Area Patriots Gather
Patriots of all ages are invited to join us again to wave our flags and patriotic signs at the four corners of HWY 14 and 164 in Groesbeck on May 28 from 8 a.m. until 12 noon - Memorial Day is observed to honor and remember our nation’s military members killed in wartime. There are 100’s of Limestone County war dead listed on a large monument on our Courthouse lawn facing HWY 164. You will never experience the depth and power of the love people feel for our great Country until a semi roars past with its deafening air horn blasting, it will bring a tear of joy to your eye. Last time we did this we had 10-yearolds to a 90 year young Korean War veteran. This event is for everyone, not just veterans. Remember, never forget, your freedom is not free. It was paid for with the blood of 100,000’s of dead American Patriots!
