Baby formula shortages now in Mexia

The baby formula shortage, which is sweeping the nation, apparently has hit Mexia’s two largest grocery stores. Empty shelves, where containers of Similac, Enphamil and other brands are stored, prevail at the local H-E-B and Walmart.

January 30 marks the end of the # Texans Recovering Together crisis counseling program (CCP) that provided free COVID-19 and Winter Storm mental health and emotional support to Central Texans. Nevertheless, its staff is committed to continuing to do its part to help people from McLennan, Bosque, Falls, Hill, Freestone, and Limestone counties who are isolated due to the pandemic. We are excited to announce that the current CCP webpage will be converted into a new website that will stay open indefinitely, so people can continue to use our free and helpful resources.

The cold winter weather has hit the Central Texas area once again. However, according to various weather forecasts, the area will have some nice weather several days this week.
