Groesbeck resident Michael Elkins wrote and self-published a poetry book titled From the Plume, which is available for preorder until mid-February.
The pre-district games did not produce any victories for the Groesbeck girls basketball team. But the 10 losses against mostly bigger schools have helped the Lady Goats develop a toughness and resiliency necessary to compete in District 20-3A.
The following indictments were handed down Nov. 16 by a Limestone County Grand Jury. Those listed are not guilty unless and until a court finds otherwise. An indictment means there is enough evidence to warrant a trail.
