Street repair projects, mobile food vendor permits, and National Night Out were just a few of the topics discussed by the Groesbeck Council at their hour-long meeting on Tuesday, July 20, resulting in several decisions for the city.

For the first time in over a year, the Groesbeck ISD Board of Trustees kicked off their monthly meeting with “Student Recognition,” a segment that had been put on hold while meetings were carried out by ZOOM video conference call due to COVID restrictions. However, with the resumption of in-person meetings, the board, district personnel, and parents took the opportunity on Monday, July 19 to celebrate the success and hard work of the Groesbeck High School Tennis Team, Coach Longbotham, and Athletic Director Coach Bomar in light of their achievements closing out the 2020-2021 school year.
The original gym floor of Groesbeck High School Varsity Gym is being replaced, and the Big Red Groesbeck G center portion could be yours, thanks to the online auction set up by Groesbeck ISD.
