It was another great day at Senior Citizens with twenty one present, being Ann Brown, Sue Wood, Elizabeth Neason, Roger and Linda Watson, Snuffy Smith, Earl Mask, Alma McCurry, Wilma Lee, Wayne, Sharp, Bob and Lona Walters, Fonetta Simmons, Doris Lemley, James Lenamond, Glenda Gambini, Gayla Lind, Hank and Elle Staniszewski, Janice Bilbrey and myself. I was unable to stay and thanks to Sue Wood I have the names of bingo winners this week. I had the pleasure of having my two great-granddaughters, Whitley and Kendall Truett from Belton visiting. The bingo winners were Earl Mask, Snuffy Bennett, Lona Walters, Buddy Lenamond Alma McCurry and the black out winner was Wilma Lee. Congratulations to you lucky ones.
Silar follows dream to become nurse practitioner; Begins career at Rettig Family Health Clinic
It took a lot of determination, hard work, and time, but Amy Oakes Silar has followed her dream to become a nurse practitioner. She began her new career at the Rettig Family Health Clinic in Groesbeck where she began seeing patients on Friday, July 9.
Register your child for Vacation Liberty School
Limestone County Students entering 4th through 8th grades are welcome to attend Vacation Liberty School August 3rd through 5th from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm. at the Mary Helen Nance Community Center, 301 E. 8th Street in Thornton.
