Coolidge ISD honors two former board members for tireless service to the district
The Coolidge ISD Board of Trustees and superintendent recently honored two former board members for their tireless service and extensive years on the board. Dr. Ric Bennett served 45 years on the CISD board and Mrs. Treon Erwin served 30 years. The evening was filled with stories, and all present remembered all they did for the community and the children of Coolidge. “They are loved and will forever be missed,” Coolidge Superintendent Robert Lowry said.
Hybrid rainwater harvesting program will address optimal irrigation, soil sampling
Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service’s Healthy Lawns and Healthy Waters Program will host a residential rainwater harvesting and turf management training June 22 for residents of Collin, Fannin, Grayson and Hunt counties.
News from the Senior Center
Well, this has been an exciting week for our center. We started off with Tuesday Bingo players being Pat Ogden, Ruth Rowland, Norma Tate, Verna Martin & Dorothy McFerrin. Our Jackpot winner was Ruth Rowland. Our caller was Andrea, and I cannot thank these ladies that give of their time and to bring gifts and make our bingo ladies happy.
Memorial Day celebrated with annual ceremony in Groesbeck
