Budget, Tax Rate discussed by GISD Board; Public Hearing set for Aug. 29

Despite meeting at a later hour than normal to accommodate “Meet the Teacher” night at Groesbeck ISD campuses, the Board of Trustees handled business in under an hour at their meeting on Monday, August 15. Perhaps most notably, board members reviewed a draft of the 2022-2023 budget, which also determines the tax rate that must be approved before Sept. 1.
