Fall is officially here which means it’s time for the annual Groebseck Study Club Annual Academic Awards/ Scholarship Fundraiser-The Nut Sale.
The Groesbeck ISD School Board used their meeting on Monday, Oct. 16 to recognize the principals, assistant principals, and the teachers of the month from each campus. The board also discussed the beginning of the year data from iReady and the benefits of the online assessment and instruction tool that provides students a personalized path to proficiency in reading and math.
The Groesbeck Auction & Livestock Company held its weekly livestock auction sale on Oct. 12. The sale is held each Thursday beginning at noon. Sellers
Since 2014, Kosse Cares, Inc. has procured, packed, and shipped several hundred care packages to service members from our area. Paying for all the thoughtful items included in the packages is achieved through donations and fundraising.
The Groesbeck Chamber Lunch and Learn hosted two speakers on Thursday, Oct. 12. Speaker Julie Wilson, Patient Family Engagement/Health Equity Coordinator for Limestone Medical Center educated about Becoming a Patient and Family Advisor at the hospital. As well as CASA Court Appointed Special Advocates joined to share the need and knowledge of CASA in our area.
