(NOTE: In connection with the upcoming Groesbeck Heritage Festival on May 28, 29,30, the Journal has been publishing stories related to the history of Groesbeck and Limestone County. This week’s story is about the Groesbeck Opera House. Believe it or not, Groesbeck did have an Opera House at one. The Opera House story came from the files of the Groesbeck Journal and was submitted by Tom Hawkins.)
