The Texas corn crop has reached the midway point, and expectations are for an above-average crop, according to a Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service expert.
The 2020 Census operation to count people living in transitory locations is underway. The operation will count those living in housing such as RV parks, campgrounds, marinas, and temporary housing such as hotels and motels. The operation also counts people living at racetracks, carnivals and circuses, and will continue until Sept. 28.
CBIC has announced that Corey Tunnell, RN, CIC of Limestone Medical Center has earned the Certified in Infection Control (CIC) credential and has demonstrated a mastery of infection prevention and control knowledge by taking and passing this comprehensive examination. Certification is maintained through the successful completion of the recertification examination every five years.
While the state of Texas sent taxing entities $753.3 million in tax receipts for September, Limestone and Freestone counties’ figures were all over the map, some receiving amounts much higher than last year’s figures, some much lower, others only slightly different from last year’s figures.
