The center was buzzing Thursday, sounded like a bunch of bees, Everyone was talking, laughing and having a great time. We had Home Health ladies come and take our blood pressures and they brought some very nice and thoughtful prizes for our bingo players. Thank you Kim Sheppard and Sindra McLean. Those present being, Ann Brown, Roger and Linda Watson, Lorene Stembridge, Alma McCurry, Snuffy Bennett, Fonetta Simmons, Wayne Sharp, Earl Mask, Elle and Hank Staniszewski and their 4 yr. old grandson, Noah Scott, Wilma Lee, Neennah German, Janice Bilbrey, site mgr., Donna Lloyd visiting back with us from Huntsville, and myself. Donna moved there recently and is greatly missed at our center and the LMC Volunteers as well. She also came to attend funeral of Rita Turgeon before our lunch as well as several others of we Seniors attended. Sympathy to the Turgeon family.

Kosse FallFest scheduled

Kosse Fall Fest is scheduled for Saturday, October 23 in downtown Kosse on N. Narcissus. Food, vendor booths, and games for all ages will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. A free, open Cruise-In Car Show will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. No registration is required and vehicles of all ages and types are welcome. Saturday night at 8 p.m., the FallFest Street Dance will take place featuring the bands Pushwater and Diamondback TX. Details on everything at KosseTexas.com/fallfest

Kosse Community Center Events

The Kosse Community Center announced several events through the end of the year. The popular Friday night Bingo is planned for August 27, October 1, October 22, November 5, November 19, December 3, and December 17. The start time is 6 p.m. with $2 entry and $2 per card. Come join the fun!
