About 150 Limestone County residents gathered at the Kosse Community Center to enjoy a speech by Lieutenant Colonel (Ret) Allen B. West regarding the importance of Texas Values and the need for their preservation. This free event, hosted by the Massey Foundation and Kosse Conservatives, brought together many politically likeminded residents on February 13, 2020 to discuss the current political state of Texas.
After expiration of the filing deadline of last Friday, Feb. 14, the City of Kosse determined that an election will not be necessary on May 2. Brooks Valls was unopposed for Mayor. Three incumbent Kosse City Council members were unopposed and will return for another term, being Harley Leazer, L.B. Perry and Ronnie Funderburk.
The Massey Foundation and the Limestone County Conservatives will be hosting Lieutenant Colonel (Ret) Allen B. West on February 13, in Kosse for a Saving Texas Values event. The event will be held at the Kosse Community Center from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Kosse Lions Club: The Kosse Lions Club meets on the second Tuesday of each month at the Kosse Cafe.
