Kosse Sesquicentennial Homecoming announced

The 93rd Annual Kosse Homecoming Weekend will take place June 11-12, 2021. This is Kosse’s Sesquicentennial, celebrating 150 years of Kosse history. The events support various non-profit organizations such as the highly-rated Kosse Volunteer Fire Department, historic preservation by the Kosse Heritage Society, and the Kosse Community Center along with community improvements and scholarships for local students.

Kosse Spring Festival this weekend

The Kosse Community Center is hosting the Kosse Spring Festival on April 17, 2021! Starting at 9:00 a.m. will be a day full of fun with a cakewalk, fun bingo, a dunking booth, vendor booths, and a kid’s talent show to crown Miss and Mr. Kosse, food, and games. From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. we’ll host an open “cruise-in” Car Show open to vehicles of all ages and sizes. If you want to set up a booth or enter the talent show, please contact the City Office at 254-375-2212.

Kosse Heritage Society News

The Kosse Heritage Society has been busy preparing historical documentation for our annual Homecoming tours and Spring Festival on April 17th, it will be at the Kosse Community Center. The Heritage Society will be selling Car Show T-Shirts, we will also have a 50-50 raffle, airbrush tattoos, and informational posters on Kosse. Proceeds from this event will go towards preserving historical newspapers, and photos at the Kosse Heritage House. The Society meets on the 4th Monday of the month, at 6pm. We welcome all visitors and encourage any volunteers as we will be painting the old girl soon! Contact any of the below officers for more information.
