Members and friends of the Let’s Travel Club joined other Collette travelers as they enjoyed a 9-day tour discovering Colorado. The group visited four national parks and had two train rides while learning the history and viewing the beauty of this state.

Late Saturday morning, after the Dunbar-Douglass Alumni Reunion parade finished, Dunbar-Douglass alumni held additional reunion activities while a group of about 200 or more people met on Belknap Street, between Palestine and Commerce, to hold a memorial for “The Comanche 3,” referring to the three Black teenagers who drowned 40 years ago while in the custody of Limestone County law enforcement officers.
