Seven classes from the 1950s, 1953 through 1989, will have a big reunion on Saturday, Oct. 16th in the Club Room of the Groesbeck Convention Center. Groesbeck Homecoming 2021 is October 15-16.
The following cases were collected from the Limestone County Courthouse offices of the District and County Clerk for May 2021. Filed cases are collected around the first of each month. All questions must be handled via the appropriate County office only.
The U.S. Census Bureau has released is sub-county population estimates from April 2010 to July 2020. That includes population estimates for the 1,200 incorporated places in Texas.
Kamryn Robison of Groesbeck competed in the Texas Junior High Rodeo Association State Finals in Gonzales on May 23-29. Texas has ten regions and the top ten of each region compete at the state finals in their event. The contestants competed in two full rounds and then the top fifteen were brought back to compete in the shortgo round in each event.
Robin York, Historian for American Legion Post 288, presented the American Legion School Award to Shayli Aparicio and Gabriel Mclelland of Groesbeck Middle School at their May 26th year-end assembly. The criteria for this National award is given to the school by the local American Legion Post, and a faculty committee makes the selection of the boy and girl. The awards are based on that criteria, being twenty percent of each of the following qualities:
