Golf enthusiasts will have the opportunity in April not only to enjoy their favorite game but also to help in a worthy cause: raising money for an arena cover at Cross Creek Meadows, an organization that serves veterans, first responders, children with disabilities and others interested in equine-assisted activities and therapies.
For those who want to prevent or stop child abuse, the work goes on year round, but every April, which is Child Abuse Prevention Month, child advocates hold special activities to try to increase the public’s awareness of this important issue.
It is requested that only civilian/public population that are desiring to be in the funeral processional park at GHS. The front parking lot at Groesbeck High School will have limited parking availability (approximately 350 vehicles). No handicap parking will be available at GHS. Handicap parking will be available at Groesbeck Middle School. The City of Groesbeck will be closing McClintic Drive to traffic.
Due to the funeral service for Trooper Walker being held at Goat Stadium on Wednesday, April 7, 2021, all GISD campuses will be closed on April 7, 2021.
