The Buffalo Livestock Auction held its weekly livestock auction on Saturday, Dec. 13. The sale is held every Saturday. The total head sold was 1187, and the total head last sale was 1013. There were 187 sellers and 60 buyers.

Volunteers of all ages place wreaths on the graves of veterans during the Wreaths Across America ceremony last Saturday at La Salle Cemetery outside of Groesbeck, part of a nationwide effort in which ceremonies were held at more than 5,500 locations across the United States to honor and remember service members who served and sacrificed for the nation.
