Groesbeck City Council met in regular session and approved plans to gradually reopen city offices, in addition to other public facilities as cleared from the affected from the COVID-19 crisis. Mayor Ray O’Docharty and other members recognized mask makers as key community contributors in recent times of crisis, in addition to local supermarket workers and first responders.
Limestone County Emergency Management logged the 12th and 13th case of COVID-19 virus earlier this week.
“We’re trying to round up our 2020 herd,” H.O. Whitehurst Principal Kimberley Carter laughed. “We’re rounding up both parents and new little Groesbeck Goats.”

A group of volunteer mask makers has stepped up to serve citizens, employees and many more across Limestone County. The Limestone Stitching Stars is made up of masked residents across the county, contributing the masks to hometown heroes that continue to serve the public in law enforcement and emergency response.
