Something I have come across and learned in my years at the Groesbeck Journal is “back in the day of ‘Early Hawkins life’ Editor/Publisher Emeritus’ Jack Hawkins Sr. and Tom Hawkins had weekly Editors Columns to give their takes, tributes, and updates on the community, so I felt necessary since the Hawkins family, especially Tom, has given me a life of careers and love that I might as well jump in on that bandwagon.
