Local facilities ask for letters for residents
Windsor and Groesbeck LTC are encouraging people to write letters to the residents at the facility in this time of crisis. While your children have a little extra free time on their hands the local assisted living facilities are encouraging them to send drawings, colorings, or write letters to residents. This will most definitely add smiles to their faces and warm their hearts of many.
Caritas seeks veterans to help in crisis, distribute food
“The Caritas of Waco Food Pantry and Veterans Assistance Program has not skipped a beat in this time of trouble facing our nation,” Veterans Outreach Case Manager Ted Chastain said. “If anything, we have stepped it up.”
