Blessing bags benefit Meals on Wheels
The 3rd annual blessing bags was hosted in March by Andrea Lopez of Groesbeck LTC, Mexia LTC, and Teague’s Nursing and Rehab. The community was asked to donate non-perishable foods and house household goods for the residents on the Meals on Wheels program. With the help of the senior center director; Glenda O’Neal of Limestone Senior Center, blessing bags were filled with many donations from the following businesses: Texas Home Health Hospice Waco, Hand in Hand Hospice, Century Rehabilitation, Community Healthcare of Texas-Providence Hospice, Incommons Bank, N.A., Parkview Regional Hospital, Bluebonnet Health Services - Hospice, Elara caring, Mike Terry Auto Group, Ascension at Home - Home Health and Hospice, Reliant at Home Hospice, Teague Nursing and Rehab, Mexia LTC, Groesbeck LTC, and many random, kind, community members. The meals on wheels residents will be very blessed with these bags this time around. If you would like to donate to the fall blessing bags contact Andrea Lopez andrealopez@gcltc.com
