The Groesbeck Chamber of Commerce is planning its annual fall holiday market for Saturday, Nov. 6. The market is to be held at the Groesbeck Convention Center located at 106 E. Navasota from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
A work day will be held this Saturday at Fort Parker Memorial just west of Groesbeck.
Dr. Cassy Burleson, Baylor Journalism, Public Relations & New Media Senior Lecturer, has received the 2021 Southwest Education Council for Journalism and Mass Communication Educator Award. The award is designed to recognize a faculty member at a SWECJMC member institution who has demonstrated an outstanding contribution to journalism and mass communication education over the past year.
