Living Proof Church’s annual 9/11 tradition proved to be another tremendous success. For six years now the church has hosted the 9/11 remembrance services and last year added in a brisket cookoff to the festivities.

Limestone County Commissioners made quick work of several electionrelated matters, budget transfers and annual renewals at their meeting on Tues., Sept. 14. Following the approval of the county budget for fiscal year 21-22 in a special meeting last week, commissioners easily approved the 0.7478 tax rate, which, County Judge Richard Duncan pointed out, was a two-cent decrease from last year’s rate.
