Red Goat Cafe Adding Service and Lunch Hours

Groesbeck ISD’s Red Goat Cafe (RGC) is under new management and making changes to the menu, hours of operation, and overall customer experience in the year ahead. New Manager Darla Wurtz is helping Special Education students master the skills of service and hospitality, encouraging them to connect with visitors and serve their needs, a valuable skill that will open doors to job opportunities for the students down the road.

Bell Rings Out

For the second time in as many years, Limestone County is bidding a fond farewell early to a retiring Justice of the Peace. Mike Bell has served as Justice of the Peace for Precinct 2 for the last 11 years, following a 43-year career as a peace officer.

Nayeli Merino Crowned GHS Homecoming Queen

Nayeli is the daughter of Miguel Merino and Ninfa Arroyo and has been an outstanding leader and role model throughout her time at GHS. She has served her classmates as Class President, led the Spanish Club as its President, and contributed her skills as Secretary of the National Honor Society. Nayeli is also an active member of HOSA, Student Council, and the Athletic Training program, where she provides support to student-athletes.
