Local wins scholarship in San Antonio

From February 6-8, the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo held its annual National Cutting Horse Association cutting horse show, one of the largest equine events hosted by the organization. Each year, exhibitors ages 14 to 18 compete for a $10,000 scholarship. The scholarship is awarded to the rider with the top average score from two youth classes that Friday and Saturday.
