Homecoming is next weekend- September 15-16 and the Groesbeck Ex-Students are hard at work to bring the community a full two days of festivities. The Groesbeck Ex-Students give annual honor awards each year to a few individuals, as well as choose honorees for the parade floats, a parade marshal, host a lunch, and assist in 50-year diploma presentations and pre-game ceremonies.
Despite the brief rain recently, our water supply system is still affected by the lack of significant rainfall. Due to that lack of rainfall, the City has implemented Stage Three water restrictions effective Monday, Sept. 3. The restrictions apply to all City of Groesbeck water customers.
The Groesbeck Ex-Students Association would like to thank all of those for paying their annual class dues.
Every Monday – The Beer Joint hosts a Pool Tournament at 4864 TX-14 in Thorton. Players meet at 7:30 p.m., and the game starts at 8 p.m. – $10 buy-in.
