Last weekend, a local high school football player reportedly threatened a fellow student with a hate crime, which was then screen recorded and shared on Facebook. With the threat were multiple bullying remarks allegedly made by several football players amid suggestions that the student end her own life.
Kosse Public Works Director Charles Dickerson is moving on to greener pastures- or at least, a pasture that won’t demand so much of his time and water. After 9 years with Kosse, Dickerson is taking a supervisory public works position with the City of Bellmead, where his hours are capped and he will lead a crew.

The Texas Draft Horse and Mule Association (TDHMA) invites the public to experience a day of family-friendly fun and equine excitement at its 15th Annual Draft Horse Play Day, taking place Saturday, Oct. 25, at the Limestone County Fair- grounds Arena, 922 North Tyus, Groesbeck. The event kicks off at 9 a.m. and will run until about 5 p.m. — free for all spectators.
