On Monday at 11 a.m. Karen Barclay from world famous Collette Travel will present Shades of Ireland, a 45-minute informative session on a grand trip to central and southern Ireland with newspaper executives Jennifer Paul and Jennifer Bynum. The group departs Oct. 8 and returns Oct. 17, 2026 after 10 wonderful days touring the Irish countryside, including Dublin, Waterford, Kilkenny, Killarney, Galway and more.

Travelers will see all the great sights of Ireland, including the Cliffs of Moher, the Blarney Stoney, the Waterford Crystal factory, ancient castles and more.

There are a limited number of seats available and reservations are being taken now. The 11 a.m. presentation Monday is open to the public, so come by and listen to Collette Travel’s Karen Barclay explain all the details.

In addition, Irish-inspired treats will be served.

GISD Approves Key Resolutions and Teacher Evaluation Changes

The Groesbeck ISD Board of Directors met on Tuesday, Sept. 16 and took the following action: Approved the consent agenda; Took no action on nominations for Limestone County Appraisal Board of Directors; and Approved a resolution declaring the official intent of the district to reimburse costs incurred in connection with the district’s planned capital expenditures from the proceeds of the tax-exempt bonds.
