GISD Approves Key Resolutions and Teacher Evaluation Changes

The Groesbeck ISD Board of Directors met on Tuesday, Sept. 16 and took the following action: Approved the consent agenda; Took no action on nominations for Limestone County Appraisal Board of Directors; and Approved a resolution declaring the official intent of the district to reimburse costs incurred in connection with the district’s planned capital expenditures from the proceeds of the tax-exempt bonds.

The First Methodist Church of Groesbeck hosted its annual community Downtown Pep Rally and Pancake Breakfast on Friday, Sept. 5, bringing together students and community members for a morning of food and school spirit.

Constitutional Amendment Nov. 4 Election Breakdown

A statewide constitutional amendment election is slated for Nov. 4, 2025. State representatives will not be on the ballot, as Texas holds elections for its House and Senate seats every even-numbered year, but their recent legislative session resulted in 17 proposed constitutional amendments.
